Paul Annett is a British producer, director and writer.  His work includes popular British television series such as Fraud Squad (1970), Crown Court (1973), New Scotland Yard (1973), Secret Army (1977/1978), Play for Today (1979), Agatha Christie’s Partners In Crime (1983/1984), Tales of The Unexpected (1987/1988), Byker Grove (1992), Emmerdale Farm (1996), Grange Hill (1998/1999) and Eastenders (1998-2009).  He also directed three episodes of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett and David Burke in 1984: A Scandal In Bohemia, The Solitary Cyclist and The Copper Beeches.
