Jeremy Brett has produced an exceptional body of work in the Granada Sherlock Holmes and in his film and drama career. I think fondly of one lesser known performance, his portrayal of poet Robert Browning in “The Barretts of Wimpole Street.” Given the enormous popularity of the Granada Sherlock Holmes series on DVD, now is an opportune time to award him a special BAFTA.
