We are pleased to report that our dossier was dispatched to BAFTA this morning. The whole parcel contains our General Public Petition (in 4 volumes), our two sub-petitions (both in 1 volume), and our presentation dossier.
The presentation begins with a presentation of our campaign. It then includes a brief over-view of Jeremy Brett’s life and career, with a filmography and television index, our two promotional videos, a selection of our supporters and ends with a Few Notes from the Fans, which were gathered from the petition comments. Due to the number of supporters who joined us, it was ultimately impossible to include brief biographies from everyone. However the most prominent have been featured, along with their letters of support.
BAFTA will receive our dossier with good timing, as they have recently opened the applications for the 2012 BAFTAs.
All we can now do is wait.
